poor service from midas

just to let everyone know....i worked on cars for over 26 years and am an ase certified technician. the franchise owners of most midas stores pay very little to the techs and overchrge customers for services. this is why you get ripped off. mostly it is incompetance but sometimes its just plain rip off tactics. be careful with all auto repair shops.you can expect a 250-350% markup on parts and exhorbant labor charges...they charge almost as much as the dealer for labor.all of this and if you are lucky enough to talk to an owner...he or she couldn't fix a baloney sandwich. i guess this is the way the universe works. i know nothing about animals so if i come into some money...i should open a veterinarian clinic because people need this service and i can make lots of money. also...it is not just midas stores..it is every franchise auto repair shop that uses these techniques. good luck with all your endeavors.
