Default Please Help :( How can i void a transaction?

hi

my dad recieved a call from a telemarketer and she convinced my dad that the service they have will help his business grow.. (the telemarketer is an advertizing company) she told him that previously his business had used their services (which was a lie) and becase of that my dad agreed and she told my dad that she will send him a package and she verified all the billing address and owner information. after one week the send him an invoice for $400

my dad thought it was free of charge.
i called them today and i listened to the recorded conversation btw her and my dad, and at the end of the conversation where they are about to hang up, she breifly mentions the cost.

now how can i fight back and get them to void the transaction for false information they provided over the phone by the sales rep...

please help

thank you

alex

Contact the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General at the same time and let the company know. If they don't relent write to the Attorney General. They don't want the heat, and the negative BBB info will prevent them from getting new business. If the issue shows resolved, it will be ok for the co. that quick talked your dad. Those recordings are an old trick, and rarely hold up under State Atty Genl pressure.

Default There might be a way

Hi there, I understand that you must be very frustrated. I have been in your shoes and not knowing where to go and going to an attorney seemed out of option since they are so expensive.

I would like to share some information with you that may help you.

Please email me at linda_tanhl@yahoo.com
