Ryder opinion - Truck Rentals

This Ryder company which is based at a self storage facility overcharged us claiming we drove more miles than were actually used. They advised a collection agency to retrieve payment which we flat out refused to pay. After promising that we will utilize every legal recourse against them if they pursue this matter,they ceased in trying to make us pay.
Just make sure everyone that when you purchase any type of vehicle rental that you record your miles and time. After returning the unit take your recordings and print them out on a standard vehicle log form that can be downloaded from your Word Document Program or from any Office Depot or simular supply company. Get the form notorized.
Generally I have never experienced any negative relationship with Ryder or U-Haul in the past but you have to be careful with the independent agents that rent there equipment.
