I”d like to introduce myself first :

I wrote to you as the central head office for Papa John’s restaurants allover the world and of course your reputation and your trade name is important for you ( to stay big and clean and a mark for good service to their customers ) & to gain the customer’s confidence as long as he is inside one of YOUR restaurants
Here is my story sir …
First ; I know these restaurants very well since I was working in KSA from 2004 – 2007 and my children like it very much and go there frequently bec. ( and this is true ) your food is tasty and flavoury
When I go back to Egypt ; I go with my family to Papa John’s rest. In Heliopolis / Cairo on Friday Jan. 4 , 2008 to celebrate my kids passed the mid-year exams , when we finished there ; I forget my cell phone on the table inside the rest. for ten minutes and when I go back to the restaurant the local manager ( Mr. Mohammad Zakareyia ) was completely negative in managing the issue esp. that no customers go into or out of the place during this ten minutes ; I go to the local police station and make a note about what happened ( Nozha Police Station ) and I told the local manager that I notified the police and this is very bad for your reputation
On Saturday Jan. 5 , 2008 ; he phoned me at home and told me that they ( CAUGHT ) the suspect and he is a waiter in the place ( named : Mubarak Hosaen ) and he is the one who took my order ; served us during dining and bring the check after we finished !! when the suspect knew about being accused esp. that two workers in the place witnessed on him ( Fathy Gamal / on the dish washer & Nader Milaad /delivery section ) .. he simply brings some street boys and try to enter the place and destroy it at late noon time and the local manager phoned the police and policemen came and take the suspect to the police station to be arrested for 4 days , when he was there I discovered that he is under trial for TWO theft cases and mine was the third for him ( and he is a WELL KNOWN person to policemen and registered there as a THIEF ) !! I re-phoned the local manager and asked him : how it comes that you appoint suspected persons at this 5 stars place and to serve people ? he replied : I don’t know about that and this is the fault of HR dept. in the head office WHO SENT HIM TO ME !!
On Thursday Jan. 10 , 2008 I phoned the complaint phone number printed on the bourchore and Ms. Hanan El-Degwy answered me and after she heared my complaint completely she said : OK sir , I’m responsible for customer’s complaint about the pizza only but I’ll tell the GM and CEO of the company ( central Cairo Office ) about your issue and be sure they will reply to you within two hours .. until now they didn’t reply !!
To make myself clear – sir - and in short :
1 - I go to one of your restaurants to enjoy my self and my family and to spend nice time and I didn’t imagine I’ll be served by thieves because I knew this is a big well-known place and they knew how to care about their customers
2 – the local manager of the place is so negative for any customer’s complaint or in solving any problems
3 – the head office for the company in Cairo is so reluctant about their reputation or their customers relief
These three points are so crucial esp. when I tell you that some of my friends forget their cell phones or other valuable things in other rest. ( Hardees , KFC , Pizza Hut and TGI Fridays ) and the place call them to come back and take what they forgot because , simply , they had no thieves among their staff
I wrote to you to save your company’s reputation from this very bad impression and situation being transmitted to my friends and colleuges with its negative impact esp. – to your knowledge – I told Ms. Hanan El-Degwy in Cairo head office : if you don’t take active step about what happened to me in one of your rest. I’ll write to the central head office in USA and she replied : be sure sir that the GM will solve your problem ( and they didn’t even apologize for that or even showed sympathy )
On the other hand , I’ll be awfully sorry – truly – if I found my self obliged to go to court and make a case against these restaurants who hired suspected people ( and under active trials ) to serve their customers and imagine if newspapers announce that what would happened as happened for McDonalds or Casper & Gambinis few months ago but for different issues
At last ; I had three questions – if you dom't mind - :
1 – do you agree about the way your local head office in Cairo run your places there ?
2 – do you think that I deserve apology for what happened to me there ?
3 – do you think that I deserve compensation for my stolen cell phone ( i-mate brand ) ?
