Oct 10, 2007 Nissan of Scottsdale (a larry miller autogroup) complaint by Tball |
Dear Mr.Miller or whom ever may be concerned.
Below is a letter I wrote regarding my purchase from your dealership back in August. It was to be sent to Nissan, The Better Business Bureau, Scottsdale Chamber Of Commerce as well as my lawyer. I never sent it as I was switching jobs at the time and did not want to deal with the BS involved in following thru. I was more happy to not have to deal with these people ever again. Well I was wrong, the deal has since worsened again. It seems that when Mike Anderon said TAX, TITLE, AND LICENSE were all included he really didn’t mean the license was included. After returning home from training, I called the dealership about my plates which is when I was informed that my plates were never ordered. Was anyone going to inform me of this??? I am now on my second temporary tag and stuck paying for the registration out of my own pocket! If this and the actions below are the kind of business you condone then I will continue this complaint to the right people until this is made right. I hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks for your time,
Toby

>RE: Purchase of 004 Nissan Xterra on
Thursday, August 23rd
>
>Dear Mr. Reed
>
>I am writing to you to attempt to amicably settle a very serious situation
>that occurred by and through your company by Mr. Mike Anderson, one of your
>sales individuals.
>
>On Thursday, August 23rd I met with Mr. Anderson regarding trading in my
2004 Hyaundai Tiburon and purchasing a newer or new Xterra. We
>negotiated for some time, finally came up with an agreed amount for my car. This
>amount was $10,300. And my monthly payment for the Xterra would be 400$ This
>agreement was secured by an agreement signed by both Mr. Anderson and the
>undersigned.
>
>On Friday, August 24th I discovered information on the paperwork that was completely INCORRECT. The amount was 8000$ and the monthly payment was 422$. The remaining amount of 2300$ I still owed on my Tiburon was added to my new loan for the Xterra. Of course I immediately called Mr. Anderson but mysteriously our "agreement" which was written on a piece of
>paper had disappeared.
>
>On August 28, I called Mr. Reed again, asking that he honor his agreement
>with me, only to be treated with disdain and even worse...he hung up on me.
> I have chosen to take this serious matter to a higher level, hoping that
you or someone at Nissan will either honor our agreement or allow me to
>chose another automobile. As a matter of fact, with the amount now advised,
>I believe I am very close to the cost of a new Xterra, which would be my
>choice.
>
>I am prepared to do whatever is necessary to resolve this matter and hope
>that you will assist me. Please advise as soon as possible.
>
>Very truly yours,
>
