I unfortunately had to file
Bankruptcy last year. When my attorney asked ASC to send the reaffirmation papers, my attorney never received them. I called and was told they were mailed on such and such date. So I asked them to mail a second copy. A week and a half later my attorney received the
paperwork, we filled out our parts and mailed them back. Well needless to say ASC never received them. So I sat at my attorney's office while they faxed them, and guess what, they never received them. I then faxed them myself, this time they did get them. So my
bankruptcy is now discharged, but guess what, my mortgage was never reaffirmed. Why? Because of ASC!!!!!!!!!!!! They did not state that my attorney had to file the papers it was under the
assumption that they had to do that because they had to sign them as well. So here I sit paying on a mortgage I am not getting credited for.... Isn't that just wonderful? To add
insult to injury ASC has now raised my mortgage rate 3 times in 6 months, to 9.75%, and I am stuck because it looks like I don't have a mortgage. So DO NOT EVER GO THROUGH ASC for a mortgage.....
