EMC Mortgage complaint
We refianced our house and the mortage was sold to EMC. This is when the trouble started. They tried to draft more than one payment a month out of our account. When you talk to them they have no customer service at all, they are very rude people. We refianced again with another mortage company and when they got the payoff from EMC the paperwork was completed for closing.

We closed on the refiancing and one week later we get a call from the new mortage company saying that EMC will not release the title to the house. EMC says that the payoff is incorrect, and more money is owed them. We sent them a check against my better judgement for over $1200.00.

They have held the check for 2 weeks and they keep adding interest every day. They have also sent back the payoff check to the second mortage co. Now we get a letter from EMC informing us that we are late on our house payment. Real nice people, don't you think. We have reported them to the state Attorney General. Avoid at al cost.
