Donovan Dodge (formerly OReilley) complaint by Dleebisbee
We purchased our B-3000 Mazda new in December 2000.

Last week with 74,000 miles on the truck the transmission needed to be rebuilt. We are not hard on our vehicle. When taken for repair we were told that Mazda knew that the part was put in the ford transmission and bought in Germany. Ford is an american engine, why use foreign parts? We weren't informed of this. The company could have sent a letter and we would have paid the replacment part with free labor of course. Since it was not out fault this was never disclosed.

We paid $2315.00 for a rebuilt transmission and bring it up to specs because of the one part that was used.

Thank you
