2007 Honda Accord - dead

American Honda complaint by John
Brand new Honda Accord has now been towed to the dealer for the third time due to a dead battery. The car in not yet a year old and has about 7000 miles on it and already it is not a depnedable car. My understand was that Honda was suppose to produce a good product, thus far I do not see it. This car listed for $27350.00 new with all the options and is has been a very bad car thus far.

So far, new battery, new alternator and 3 times the car was needed for important business and it did not start. Not sure what to do other then hope the dealer will fix the car this time. Not feeling very good about for obvious reasons...

John from Foxboro, Ma.

John, Lemme Guess the people at consumer reports are wrong right? Any manufacturer who produces a product has errors here and there Some small and some large, but thats what warranties are for.

Looks like the dealer is very poor at fixing cars. Of course they will assume it is the battery and the alternator and replace that first. I do not believe they are actually checking for leaking current. I have never had a honda new or old have problems getting 200,000 miles.

I bought a new Honda and it was a very bad experience in every possible way.

Got rid of it after 11k.

Very over rated vehicles and I don't know why. Actually Honda is not even in the top 10 of auto manufacturers in the world.
