Publix #1150 Vero Beach DEADLY
|
Jan 13, 2008 Publix complaint |
I have had employees confide that the produce (which is either rotting or rotten within TWO DAYS) is shipped FROZEN which naturally destroys most nutrition and flavor. Milk goes sour usually a few days Before expiration date due to milk being left out after delivery instead of stocked immediately. Many items from different vendors ARE DEFINITELY PRICED IDENTICALLY, eliminating any competitive pricing. I bought 2-for-2 specials on crackers on separate occasions to find them crumbled and stale.
Vero Beach Treasure Coast PUBLIX is a detriment to our health, our budgets and illegally cruel to employees. (see other note)

Is this some kind of joke? Also employed by publix for 12 years I've never seen a frozen produce truck arrive at our backdoor or have a allowed my dairy clerks to let the milk warm up for a while in the south FL heat, before putting it in the cooler. There is a reason we walk away from customers like you in the store, because you have no idea what kind of idiot you even sound like.

Listen you fool...... I've worked for Publix for 21 years now both in the retail and in the Produce warehouse and I have never in my life heard of such a thing! Evryone knows that our Produce doesn't nor has it ever came in frozen........ and as for the milk..... it is taken right from the truck and into the dairy cooler! So for you, someone who is such an Idiot, to sit here and say these things is ludicris! Hope you enjoy working for Winn Dixie or Sweetbay cause those are the ones who have an axe to grind with such a wonderful company like PUBLIX!

I am going to state the same thing. I have worked for Publix for 8 years and NEVER has produce come in FROZEN. Plus, our milk and dairy products go into the cooler IMMEDIATELY. We're not stupid. We know that this food goes out to our customers, and we certainly wouldn't put customers or Publix's reputation for freshness at jeapordy. You're an idiot for writing this, because you know absolutely nothing. Publix should sue you for defamation.

I'm a driver for publix and just to let you know you jealous winn-dixie employee that there is no produce shipped on frozen trucks. in fact the trailers that the produce is shipped on are refrigerated at 38 degrees. These temps are recorded on our drivers logs and on board computers. which are legal documents. so don't hand me a bunch of crap that you personally know nothing about. just as you stated its just hear say.

It must be terrible to live in the fantasy world you live in. Produce comes on refrigerated trucks, not frozen. Milk is pulled into the coolers as soon as it come soff the truck. You are living proof that crack kills.
