Another billing problem Complaint - DHL

DHL complaint
I noticed that another reader had a similar problem with online bill paying having the funds removed from his account, yet receiving past due notices. The same thing happened to me. I have paid bills online for years, on two different banks, and never had this happen. 1) June 2004 - paid my DHL bill 2) September 2004 - DHL invoices me again.

Stupid me, forgot I paid it, paid them again. 3) October 2004 - Got a past due notice for the above. Then I realized ""Hey, the money came out of my bank account twice!

I guess they want me to pay them a 3rd time!"" So I reported the double payment to them and asked for a refund. 4) After many fruitless phone calls, and submitting a lot of documentation (the payment was filed electronically), I got my refund check for $56.52 on November 24, 2004. Yay!

5) December 17, 2004: I received another past due noticed for - you guessed it - $56.52. My business credit rating is messed up now and I have spent way too much time trying to straighten this out.
