1. Written by , on 14-01-2008 19:00 I have to unfortunately weigh in on Juniper after a completely unprofessional and discourteous conversation with one of their account managers. It appears that their system would not process a $0.44 amount and I got socked with a $29 late charge fee. I called to request a reversal of this charge and let them know that I did not dispute the charge, but that their system would not accept that amount. The account manager (Janet) told me that their was nothing she could do except to accept a payment over the phone. I have spent thousands of dollars on their card, paid on time in the past, and even paid large amounts to reduce my liability in as short a time as possible. The attitude (yes - the attitude) of the account manager was rude and condescending. It appears that my (and Apple's) confidence and trust in Juniper have been sorely misplaced. I intend to follow up with the New York State Attorney General, if just to have it on record, that the practices of Juniper are somewhat suspect - or at least - VERY customer unfriendly. Nativemac |
