THEY ARE A VERY SHADY COMPANY. I AM VERY SORRY I SUCUMBED TO THEIR OFFER. FROM NOW ON, I WILL ONLY STAY WITH COMPANIES I HAVE HEARD OR READ ABOUT. AFTER YOU ARE ON THEIR CREDIT LIST, YOU ALSO GET YOUR CREDIT SCORE REDUCED FOR SOME REASON. STAY AWAY, FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

My statement closing date is 2/15/10. I get a letter in the mail today telling me my credit line has been lowered from $3000 to $500!!. But the best part is I go online to check my account. Here we are 1 week after i paid my balance in full,prior to my statement closing date. They charged me a latefee (allready was assesed this fee on my payment)was charged for being over the limit(even though as my statement date I hade a $0 balance, and they charged me the full interest for my $3k balance on my march statement. Their reps dont understand the difference between your payment due date and the statement closing date. How can they charge me a fee for beong over the limit and for the interest on my account when by the statment date it was $0???? ![]() |

Written by lovelyone3536, on 21-02-2008 21:40 I just closed my account about 15 mins. ago..I called to report that my available credit on my statement was $20.00 more that what is being displayed online (not that it was alot of money), but I ususal compare on all my accounts that I pay online that they match up every month. I get on the phone with rep for the first 10 mins he is trying to explain to me or calculates what he interprets as being correct...Apparently at the time he was not actually doing the calculations by calculator because he comes back and agrees that there is a twenty dollar discrepany. It just seemed like someone was coaching him in the background. Okay after it was established that "oh by the way I see that there is a note on your account that there is a difference on your account", So after that was over with I stated to him that I only have a $600 limit and I have had the account for over two years, never late or over the limit but everytime that I call the CS dept they state that you cannot call in and request an increase...This last person told me that the credit department looks at accounts every 4 to 6 mths. Not True!!! So then I asked if I could get the number to the credit specialists, ironically there are no numbers to that dept. After going a couple more rounds with the moron I asked to speak to a supervisor....He stated that he could see if I were eligilble for an increase...Not even 5 seconds later he says, "unfortunately at this time we could not honor your request". At this point I am really frustrated and asked for a supervisor for probably the 3rd time...He states that I was already speaking with an account manager....I basically called hime a liar...How do they sleep at night???? Anyways I told them to close the account and guess what no sooner than we got off the phone and checked online the account was closed...Truly I liked the account because my rate was only 8.9% but come on a customer with no lates or over the limits in over two years...Is that how you are supposed to treat a good customer??????? Believe me they e-mail me when a payment is due or when I am just about at my limit, why couldn't they have called me to let me know that they considered me for an increase and I was not eligible....It's okay I am not going to get away with the twenty dollars and I sure don't need them....I was really looking for an excuse to get rid of a few cards in "08", they just did me the favor of taking me there sooner than I thought.... |
