I'm in sales here at ServiceMagic have been for 2 years. Do you have any idea how many denied accounts I've received?? We screen criminal and public records. Give you an idea, a 5 million dollar a year contractor with 3 owners.

We enrolled the one owner he had been in prison for an undisclosed reason, the other 2 owners were squeeky clean and ServiceMagic QA denied them. If we enrolled scumbag contractors we wouldn't be in business.

We're in business because homeowners trust the contractors we bring in. If you're a felon, a "joe six pack" or anyone with a bad reputation you will not be allowed into ServiceMagic. Feel free to try it out for yourself. As far as telemarketers, ha, we're sales professionals. Our sister company is Lendingtree.com and all of our real-estate has been shifted to them since october 2004. Only thing ServiceMagic deals with now is contractors. We just bought out our nearest competition, Improvenet.com. We are it! And our service doesn't work for everyone but I have thousands of testimonials saying it does. My architect I just signed on got 16 leads and closed 5 of them, big jobs. A maid service in Las Vegas is sending me gifts cause our leads have saved her business. So make up your own mind but hear 2 sides to every story. Having a credit card is not going to get you into our system.

Your post is nonsense! You have got to be kidding me. In the next week or so, ask your legal department (Lee Spiegler) to go ahead and share a letter he will be getting!
