I ordered the scrubs dvd set from ultimatedvdshop.com on 12/10/2007. I was told that I would receive a confirmation email within 24-48 hours of ordering. (I received 12/29/2007 and this was three days after they told me they would refund my order.)They charged my credit card 118.72, but it should have been 111.58 (89.99+21.59sh)

In the mean time I have chatted with them with their live customer chat. They would give me a tracking number for the Canadian Post office that wouldn't exist. They would tell me that they would call the post office and track it down and call me back. They never called back. During this time I checked for complaints about this company and so many results popped up with very similar stories.

I then chatted with them and asked for a refund. After trying this many times I finally had someone agree to do this. But a week latter still no refund. I did however file a dispute with my credit card company.

I also found out by chatting with an on line representative that they sell dvds that are recorded of the tv; they claim this is legal, but I don't see how this is possible.

I would be very careful about ordering anything from this company or its sister sites:

Yes, I too have been ripped off by dvdass. Purchased Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction complete box set and am out 120
