Flycell complaint
FLYCELL offers free ring tones for your cell phone, but charges you even before you download any. I received a fraudulent offer from FLYCELL.COM for 10 "absolutely free" ring tones. I started the subscription to download the ring tones and a few seconds later I got a text message saying the service had a $5.99 monthly fee. I immediately reply saying I did not want the service, so a few seconds later I got another message saying I had been "opted-out" and my subscription had been canceled. I never download anything from FLYCELL.

I thought it was that easy, but in my next cell phone statement I found a charge of $9.99 (not $5.99)for services provided by FLYCELL. My cell phone provider said they could not do anything and that I needed to contact FLYCELL myself to make sure my subscription was really canceled, or these people could continue to charge me the $9.99 monthly. I called them but they have a very poor customer service where the only thing you can do it's to leave a message in an answering machine, for which I never got a call back.

I guess it is very easy for these people to get away with this fraud, since they steal little amounts of money from so many people; so it is not worth it for everyone of us to seek for justice, but it does mean a lot of money for then after defrauding thounsands of people.

STAY AWAY FROM ALL THOSE "ABSOLUTELY FREE" OFFERS, SPECIALY FLYCELL.C

I had gone through 2 weeks of *** with their "customer service" - emailed them, no answer - the 800 number is answered in Delhi, Indian guys using alias names told me there is nothing they can do, no names, no company profile, no telephone numbers, no email addresses to anybody who works with FlyCell. I called AT&T and got refunded just in a matter of minutes!! I googled flycell complaints and there are hundreds of thousands of blogs/complaints about this company it is amazing how they are still operational. If enough people tell cellphone providers about how big of a scam this flycell is -- they could effectively be blocked. This has to stop!
