I signed up for their internet service and after a month lost the signal. When I contacted them they first said the whole system was down. The next day they denied that, but could not get my signal back.
I am in Oregon, they are in Texas. When I attempted to get them to have the local technician that installed my modem call me, they refused (I don't have his number and it is not on the contract he left with me when he did the installation).
There seems to be at least three problems with their customer service:
1. Their phone is connected to voice-over-internet and breaks up like a cell phone signal, making conversation difficult.
2. The people I spoke with had such an accent that I had great difficulty understanding them.
3. They seem to be of a culture that does not understand our way of doing business.
It looks like I would be better of with a local service with local people.
P.S. A nearby RV park signed up with them for TV cable service when they were the original Friendship Cable, and Pcone has not honored the original contract - they have atempted to double the monthly fee, retroactively!
