Western Appliance complaint
I am a long time customer of Western Appliance located in Santa Cruz, CA. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years on appliances, as we own about 50 rental units, not to mention buying appliances for my own homes.

Anyway, I visited the store a few weeks ago and ordered a drop in range for a remodel that I'm currently working on. I gave them the measurments and placed the order. I also purchased a dishwasher and a microwave.

I received the appliances, minus the microwave that they said was in stock, which was not. Anyway, the drop in range was the wrong size so I called them to let them know. Now get this..even though they made the mistake, they want to charge me a 10% re-stock fee and additional fee to re-deliver.I argured the point, to no avail, so I decided I would just give them what they are asking for..a measly $40.00. I will never use them again because of this and I can't believe they would loose thousand of dollars in future business over a re-stock fee!
