Best Buy Stores complaint

Local Best Buy would not price match Sears on Appliances I tried to purchase LG Steam Dryer from Best Buy in Mt. Laurel NJ,. I was treated rudely whenI asked to Match Advertised price at Sears for same unit delivered and installed..Customer service would not give me to store manager instead I was told to call 888-bestbuy. I was told at that number that pricing was at the discretion of Store Manager. In short I believe that the local store was actively trying to avoid the issue by not letting me speak to store manager. I believe that the chain should adhere to their advertisement claims.

bestbuy generally doesn't match package prices and or service promotions, which this sounds like and is stated in the price match policy if you ever looked at it.

Wow, they wouldn't match SEARS? And I thought it was just Tiger Direct, and all the small stores in Chinatown they wouldn't match.

Typically, the only reason a Best Buy store would not honor a competitor's price (on the same make and model), would be market location or availability.
