US Airways complaint
On 2/16/08 my family and I flew on flight 333 from Newark, NJ to Phoenix, AZ. We got on the plane and the flight attendant announced that we were over our maximum weight and they needed 4 volunteers to get off the plane. People were saying that they had connecting flights to get and couldn't get off. The flight attendant then announced, "we will not be going anywhere until we get 4 volunteers". Her tone was that of a miserable woman scolding a bunch of children... "Then I guess we'll just have to stay here" (with her hand on her hip). The crew acted as though we were to be punished for not getting off the plane. Didn't we pay good money to reserve this seat 4 months in advance? It seemed to me that the one who should have gotten off was the overweight flight attendant.

If that wasn't bad enough, the passengers were scolded for getting up to go to the bathroom too soon after we took off.."We know you need to go to the bathroom, we do too, but you need to take your seats". By the way, only one of the bathrooms worked in the back of the plane, and only one worked in first class.

It was a 5 hour flight, there was no food. They were selling sandwiches and snack boxes but they ran out before they got to us in row 24.

I will NEVER fly US Airways again and I strongly suggest you stay away from them too.
