I am currently a trainer for werner. 9 years as a trainer. 1.7 million accident free miles. I tell all my students, and i dont care who knows it warren smith, mike kuenen, jason the wanna be, than upon completion of training to expect the screwing they are about to recieve. The recruiters are just the beginning of a long list of liars they will deal with. The reason they let you get that far n... Read more

I was originally hired and told after orientation that I only needed 140 hours of training. After completing 140 hours I was sent home for 2 weeks only to be told that now they wanted me to complete an extra 100 hours. After 240 hours of training I was given a recovery truck that broke down the very first day. Werner had me take the truck back to the shop, which I slept in for 3 days waiting for... Read more

Werner Enterprises are as corrupt as they get in the trucking industry. I honestly find it hard to believe that they get away with their criminal behavior. Start with taking a look at their Board of Directors and move your way down the company chain and you will see corruption. They are bullies and nothing more then Rednecks with money! Beware of working for this company or associating with any... Read more

If you receive your annual bonus, weekly pay check and your vacation checks any of the two together look at your year to date federal taxes withheld they are the same, your W2's at year end they don't reflect your actual federal with holdings , they stole them forcing most drivers to owe taxes at years end.....Werner LLC Omaha Nebraska is not only not paying you what you have earned they are also... Minorities drivers are profiled and paid less than non-minority drivers, minority drivers are paid 20-30 dollars for more than 5-9 hours if you file a complaint of unsafe trucks, trailers or made to drive in dangerous unsafe weather. Drivers are forced haul hazardous materials without a placard because the drivers don't have a hazmat endorsement. Drivers have been in accidents and injured and... Read more

As an owner op, we are responsible for buying our own fue, paying for our own repairs, and maint..this is understood when becoming an owner op....but when we drive 20-30-40, and up, miles that we are not paid for, every trip...it adds up! Werner does give a fuel surcharge, average is approx .43cents a mile, that basically means we lose an extra .43cents a mile, on miles we are not paid for! I... Read more
