I had a mortgage with Chase Home Mortgage. Approximately a year ago, I received a notice that I never paid my monthly payment. I called Chase and was told, my account had insufficient funds. My husband had a payment refunded from his auto-insurance company. When we called the bank to see if it was a mistake on our fault all they could tell us was that the transactions had been "deleted". Just about two years ago I opened an account with this bank and I have say that a few locations in Orlando Florida are the worst bank. The location on lake under hill has won the trophy for the worst bank. ** DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH WELLS FARGO BANK ** They DO NOT care helping me with increasing the limit of daily allowed to use on my debit card. Worst experience of my life. First, they refuse to work with customers. Second, they will NOT let you make principal payments online because you might save some interest. Wells FArgo is absolutely the most horrific lender ever! We tried working with them for a home modification and they never entertained our requests! We went into pre-foreclosure while on hardship and they never told us the process would begin during this time. Erika McNeil, our "rep" was clueless and did not offer any help to save our home. I checked my account balance at 7 am 1/6/13, to check for weekly deposits and any withdrawals that had occurred. My account showed 2 hefty deposits and 4 small withdrawal transactions all dated 1/6/13. I had a solid balance, and was prepped to phone-in car payment after their offices opened.
