Walgreens is in the process of of changing job titles having employees doing the same work, cutting their pay and changing schedules. If employees don't like it QUIT. This is their main goal make People mad and quit without thinking. This is what Walgreens wants so it can pay their employees $10 an hr. No more Executive or Assistant Managers, store leaders or group leaders. Will have keys to open and close stores, same responsibilites under a new title. Employees can you say UNION-UNION-UNION. or a Civil or Class Action lawsuit. In my opinion Walgreens puts misinformation on it's web site. This is their way to single out and traget employees. The following resources are available to all employees to make sure that they have an effective way to express complaints, concerns or suggestions for improvement. Being able to listen and communicate directly with our employees makes the company stronger and able to respond to issues quickly, without the unnecessary bureaucracy and delay of a formalized grievance process.

Open Door Policy - Walgreens believes in the dignity of its employees and their right to a prompt, equitable and sympathetic review of any question or difference of opinion an employee may have concerning their work situation. Employees may take their questions or concerns to either their direct supervisor or move up through the chain of command to get resolution.

Hotline System for reporting problems and concerns in the workplace - 1-80*-666-**** to call 24 hours a day. A Loss Prevention Supervisor will promptly investigate these types of claims. UNTRUTH

It is obvious that Walgreens Corporate bean counters are grasping at straws. Their restructuring of the way reordering of product, is a sure waste of money.

It has lead to over ordering of product or no product coming on the next delivery. I know for a fact that TWENTY FOUR gallons of milk were pored down the drain, along with throwing away dozens of eggs on a regular basis and this is only one store. Surly these could have been donated to a worthy cause! Your restructuring of your staff is only going to be a disaster.

I like to call it tripping over dollars to pick up penny's effect. All corporate bean counters try this and it does not work! your stores are understaffed and your inventory is miss managed from the corporate level. I feel that corporate should rethink what's going on.

If you think your customers are upset now how will it be when your employees could care less about your company because you are playing with their livelihood! It's common sense or are you people sitting in the higher office really that blind!!!

The original post is from 2012!

Not true. I think the writer just wants to organize. No problem with that, but lying about the company is pretty stupid.

You responded to a complaint from 2012. You have no idea what was going on at that time.

I'm a current (but maybe not for long) employee, DH in central GA. Ever since I was hired, I've been butting heads with the ASM who thinks he runs everything.

I shouldn't say "butting heads" because that implies that he's competent. Anywho, he looks down on everyone at the CSA level, never trains or instructs anyone on anything, and expects perfection in every capacity, all while questioning the intelligence of everyone (customers included), and if anyone bites back, he gossips like a high school cheerleader and tries to make everyone see the person as lesser than. I'm going on my 10th month of employment today, and was written up for 'violating policies'. That became 'my productivity was slipping and various complaints have been passed'.

So I asked him and the real manager, if that's the case, I'd wonder how. My hours were cut to 13/week 2 months ago. I only work 1 day as a cashier, 1 day in photo lab. They violate my contract by going against promised days/shifts rotating around.

They give other CSA's they "feel perform better" more hours, even though Walgreens policy states that A. CSA level should receive a max of 30/week and B. favoritism is strictly against policy, which apparently only I'm breaching. Walgreens is kinda ehh.

Other stores aren't as bad, but this cliquish, *** inner circle type *** is dead.

It's a *** retail pharmacy chain, and not a very good one tbh (seriously, people come in seeing signs of sales, but sometimes those "sales" upcharge customers or make no significant difference, then when WE get yelled at about it, management can write us up for not making people happy??). I used to love my store, and noticed people leaving all due to the same reason, so if you're ever in the area and wander into the store and see or hear the name Randy Martin, just don't expect any professionalism or assistance.

I was an employee at Walgreens for a year. I went off to college and planned to work when I went back home.

Not even a month after I left, they mysteriously fired me under peculiar circumstances. After being a Designated Hitter and still being payed as a regular team member, I asked to be compensated for my work and they said they could do nothing.

I am currently working on a law suit and hopefully everything will be prepared to go to court January 2020. -Former Walgreens Employee in Tarboro, North Carolina

Doing the same job as all my peers for longer then all my peers and getting paid 60 cents less. I went from the floor to a department head to a pharm tech and everyone that's come through the door jus to be a pharm tech has been getting paid higher then myself it is not right to be treated unequal i m tired of it and none of my bosses even care.

I may quit this store go to a new store location and i bet i d get hired at the rate I should be at. I'm very disappointed in my company for not being fair!!!

The manager of the store in North Las Vegas Nevada on Bonanza and Lamb is the worst excuse for s human being. Michelle Scholz had been seen reprimanding her "leaders", she blatantly ignores costumes and her associates.

She actually pretended not to her her associate who is a "ASMT" (whatever that is) as he requested to be relieved from the cash register duties so he could use the restroom.

I cannot believe you have such ignorance running your stores. Walgreens you should be ashamed.

My wife has been working at Walgreens for 18 years and all I say to her is time to leave, used to be a great company to work for but after the $5 dollar pay cut given and being demoted to shift leader like every other assistant manager did. What I don't understand is how come certain employees stood as assistant managers without passing some type of required exam and do not give opportunities to others.

My wife has put many hours, assisting other stores around town and still does not get appreciated by management. There is no security that is why in areas where you may have crime stores looses money and they want employees to act as security also!!!

BS!!! One more thing since when a holiday doesn't get paid if you have it off and still works a 40 hour schedule, action class lawsuit is needed against the malpractices of this company.
