Bought Vizio 70" smart TV. It worked great for 7 months and then picture went out and has not worked again. Called Vizio they had to send a tech out. Two weeks later the tech showed up with a new part, installed it and TV worked for about a minute and same thing happened, picture went black. I purchased a 60" Vizio TV from Sams. Approximately 3 and 1/2 months after the purchase, the television went blank while watching tv shows where the screen was dark in color. WIFI remote eats batteries every two days, the tech had me reset it to Infrared only, thanks for nothing. And to rub salt in, and it doesn't play well with the network systems. No media server access, no phone app support, it is good for a kid to play games or movies and that's about it. Don't buy it, they are garbage in my honest opinion. I was very satisfied with my 2 Vizio smart tv's until the 55", at only 2 years old went to ***. It will not respond to any remote. This is intermittent problem. 2 years!? I called Vizio and they could only offer to refer me to a repair service for $275. NO GUARRANTEE! I will put that money toward the purchase of another brand. Vizio is junk! I bought a Vizio 60" model e601i-a3 television from Walmart in June of 2013. The unit is 8 months old and I've been very satisfied with the overall performance of the unit. Two weeks ago I turned the television on and a vertical red line appeared on one side of the screen. I contacted Vizio Support to have the unit repaired or replaced. I purchased a 47 inch LED in April of 2011 and purchased the extended warranty (which I know is a rip off but it made me feel better after dropping that kind of money.) Bought a Vizio 32" Smart TV from After only 4 months of use the power keeps going out. Conveniently says its covered under warranty and Vizio says that it is not. Purchased from Costco in December 2009. Recently, the TV makes a loud noise and then the picture turns into vertical lines. Looked into getting it repaired, but decided to buy a new TV instead. I'm going with Samsung this time. No more Vizio's for me -- nor will I ever, ever recommended the Vizio brand to anyone else. How can a company make a tv that lasts less than 4 years.
