On October 23, 2013 I called into have my monthly payment no longer mailed to me but instead have it electronically wired to my account. (Reason for the changed address was because had my vehicle stolen and was moving immediatly.) 4 months later and 25 phone calls I was missing 4 checks. Sadly, the Army portion of my IDES (the system now used when a service member is medically boarded for retention) has been completed in a timely and accurate fashion. The VA rating process, mind you I already have a VA Disability Rating, has been ongoing for 193 days as of March 9, 2014. The VA related the process "normally" takes 90 days. In 1995 while on active duty I had a modified UPPP surgery for sleep apnea. After surgery on 14 Feb 2012 for cervical fusion I applied for an increase of benefits for service connected cervical problems and initial claim for sleep apnea. Service connected broken back, TBI with stellar performance until after accident and honorable discharge after 11 years active. 30 years of chronic pain and ,I believe, PTSD. Have requested PTSD screen numerous times, to no avail. 3 out of 4 mental health appts cancelled by VA. This is significant as I live hours from the nearest VA and am destitute due to condition. I began with the VA in 2006, and from that day on it was a complete nightmare. The doctors are either really really old and dont listen or they dont speak english that clearly. routinely let narcotic scripts expire, i have to call every month to make sure they dont run me out of meds(morphine).they put you in touch with a call center somewhere and lie to you about delivery. they will tell you what they think you want to hear. i've had them send out meds by same day courier(huge waste of tax money) or they will priority overnight them(waste of tax money)all because they... My husband a disabled vet and I have been bullyed and experienced abuse at this clinic, It is not ok to be yelled at by a medical fed govt employee, I keep falling on deaf ears, any one else have this problem? find me on facebook, looking for atty to handle this case,..I am just so sick now what kills me is the govt has web pages about bullying and yet it allows its employees to do it...there...
