Watch out for these guys. We transferred a membership from my cousin who was a member for 14 years and used it one time to rent a cabin. Total cost about $2000. for one night. Since them my partner has gotten cancer and requires Chemo regularly. We Never Bought a Camper. Recently my husband and I purchased an upgrade with ELS/Thousand trays. We paid $5200.00 for what we were told was unlimited 365 days a year camping. When we received our next scheduled dues statement we found out that we would not receive the 365 days free camping. Instead for $5200.00 we received the option to purchase the unlimited camping for the amount of $1478.50 per year. This was an... Read more

Our family has been members of the Thousand Trails "family" for many years and we always happy with our choices of facilities, the employees, etc. Several years ago, EquityLifestyles purchased TT, and the entire feel of the company changed. The parks available is more limited, and the condition of the parks, and especially the employees, have changed drastically. We pay $600 per year in "dues"... Read more
