I was in my local Subway getting 4 footlongs and one 6 inch for my family. While in line, I overheard a customer behind me state that they did not put 8 slices of turkey in their footlong.

The owner was making the sandwich quickly corrected and apologised stating "How did that happen'. When I got home I checked our 4 footlong s noticing they only had 7 slices of ham and one footlong only had 6 cleverly folded so a customer wouldn't instantly notice unless you were counting as they make the sandwich. I called the store and told them of their oversight (which I think is deliberate to save them money). They said it was their word against mine and I should have noticed their obvious mistake while they were making the sandwich.

The 6 inch sub had 4 slices which is what is supposed to have. I also heard the customer say that this was not the first time they've had to correct their mistake.

Now I'm wondering how many times I've been cheated out of what I honestly pay for at my local Subway. Imagine if they are doing this to every customer, every day how much money they are saving while cheating regular customers out of what they ordered for $6.00.

I bought one footlong turkey yesterday. Oh boy, the tiniest, the slimmest footlong I ever got from Subway.

Yes, I unfold the sandwich and counted the slices when I got home. I got 7 slices of turkey.

The girl even saved on lettuce in spite of me asking her if she could add more. I have a photo of the sandwich and receipt to prove.

If you are a true believer of Allah, you are required to follow the laws of the land and ethics. A true Muslim will never treat any human being with such condescending words.

I'd much rather eat at a Subway being run by nice Muslims, than to eat at one being run by White Trash.

I've had the same thing happen to me only a bit worse. The Subway at Ferdinand Indiana put four slices of turkey on a footlong turkey sub.

I didn't notice till after I had left. I asked at my local Subway what was supposed to be on it. They told me eight slices turkey to a footlong turkey sandwich. I notified the corporate office and they said they would notifiy the regional manager and the Ferdinand store and would get a reply from them.

I never heard another word about it.

Most stores are honest and give you the full eight slices. However some of them will cheat you!

I just got a six inch ham and this is the first time EVER that I got 4 pieces of meat? I go to the same subway every time because it's close to my house.

I usually always get a foot long and it's always 4 pieces of meat. I had to come home and look it up. I'm so disgusted!

I have been purposely ripped off for a longtime! WOW

I went to a Subway in Year 1992 once. I attempted to get an Italian sub.

I took it home, and was so disappointed yhat I will NEVER go to a Subway ever again. What did I get?

The 3 triangles of meat were so thin that if you throw one out the door of the Space Station, the solar wind would grab it like normal wind and a plastic bag, and hurl that slice so fast it'll catch up with the Pluto Probe in 3 months. (Yhe probe took 10 years at 40K mph)

The Provolone was just as solar-sail-thin as the meat.

The tomato was about as thick as a solid quarter coin.

There was 3 drops of Italian dressing.

However, there was a lot of lettuce, obviously a cheap filter. At the meat processing plant, what company has made such extreme precision meat slicing equipment? I doubt that any food processing equipment company could do it.

Try a defense contractor doing a side job, like Lockheed Martin. Or a German engineering firm like Siemens.

It is not that hard to count to eight, you must have eaten the meat and the claimed that that is all you got. Get a job so you don't have to lie for free food. Even if you are telling the truth, there are children starving in third world countries and you are complaining about getting shorted by one or two slices of meat, I bet those in third world countries would be happy if that is their biggest issue.

Your ***, starving kids have nothing to do with not getting what you pay for. You ***.

If you bought a car with no spare tire, would you just chalk it up and say.."oh well, people in other countries don't even have cars"...

NO! Is the answer..

I'm sorry, (Not Really) but U are an ***. What you're saying is that just

Because there are starving people in this world, we should just continue to let

these multi million dollar companies RIP US OFF?

YEAH, RIGHT THERE BUDDY. UR SO ***. In fact next time you go somewhere to eat, please tell them that "it's OK for them to skimp.on the portions they give you, because people in other countries are 'starving!!".

Ha! Practice what you preach!!

Well it would be different if they sometimes miscounted and put extra meat on it. *** kr

It's too bad that all of the Old Fogey's and Fussy Fuddy Dudds couldn't be all cool like the members of the Rolling Stones are still doing. They used to be cool in their younger day, but then they conformed and cut off their long hair and joined the establishment.
