So I began my journey a few years ago when I bought 3 couches with the company, then one of those couches broke and because it was under warranty they replaced it with another set of furniture because they no longer have that couch available. I am very disappointed with Sofa Mart in Marion IA! About eight months ago I purchased a living room set. The entertainment set arrived damaged. The second one was also damaged. They managed to find another one with only slight damage and I agreed to accept it. I thought this would be the end of my disappointment with Sofa Mart. We ordered a custom chair from Sofa Mart in Spokane Valley, Washington. The salesman assured us the chair was to be ready for pick up no more than 45 days later. Today, 55 days later we finally picked up our chair. Store personnel were apathetic and seemed amused by our requests to check on our merchandise. We called three times, each time being assured someone would check and call us right back.... Read more

Ordered my sectional on the 3ed of the month, was told it would be delivered in 10 to 14 days. After 3 weeks called to ask when it was coming, was told by the Manager it should have already came its in the warehouse and they would call with an update, Never got a call so I called again and found out by another employee that 2 pieces would not be here until Dec. The red Raquel sofa bleeds!!! We are hoping 3rd time is a charm, our local sofa mart just ordered us a third. Anyone else have this problem? Our store claims they never heard of this before and this sofa is very popular. We love it but I just don't want pink sox!! Should I take a chance on visitors not wearing white to my house, they could end up with pink butts. Oh, our store has been good... Read more

My nephew bought his first house he bought some new furniture and one item was a sofa from sofa mart. It took longer then suppose to, to get item. the cushions all became soft and flat in less then a year. Now he is having a terrible time to getting it fixed. just one delay after another. we currently have four adult families that will never buy from there. I personally go to Hendricks Home... I too wish my husband and I would have read the reviews about Sofa Mart before we purchased our Sectional sofa....AND I HOPE I CAN SAVE YOU FROM BUYING FROM SOFA MART. So, it takes a few months for us to decide on a sofa, a few visits to Sofa Mart, a few long weekends before we FINALLY decide on a sectional at Sofa Mart. Bought a Sofa, 2 chairs and an ottoman from Sofamart (Spokane Valley, Wa) 1/29/12 and have each piece repaired and or replaced. I truly believe that these are nothing more than glorified factory 2nds. Staples poking thru material, feet on couch misaligned, sewing on cushions coming undone. I bought a high dollar leather sofa in July. Within a week after getting it home, I was applying the cleaner, conditioner and protector as per instructions per the warranty I paid extra for. I bought a Cloud leather sectional in January and was told (after I decided to purchase it) that it would be mid-March before I could have it. It's now mid-April, I have made 2 payments and NOTHING!
