I wish someone would explain to me why a company takes orders when they know they can't fulfill the orders? I'm talking about Schwan's.

The first time I used Schwan's was two weeks ago. They were supposed to deliver between 11 am and 1 on a Monday. 1:30 comes, no delivery. I call customer service.

The first woman says she will call the local distributor and puts me on hold. Then she hangs up on me. I call back and get another woman who contacted the distributor. She said they had no drivers and the delivery would come the next day.

It came. After one. The guy had to drive 2 hours to do the route. It took almost 2 hours for his card reader to read my card.

Flash forward to today. Two weeks later. Same story. Actually, much worse.

1 o clock comes, no food. I call customer service. The woman says she called the local distributor and my delivery will come on Saturday. Saturday?

Hello? Today is Monday and I have no food. Thanks so much. I canceled the order.

She says she will pass the info to the local place. I received an email stating that my new delivery date is Saturday. Nothing about a cancellation. I will be livid if that truck shows up on Saturday.

I don't understand why there is apparently no communication from the website and local distributors. They take orders when they have no drivers.

Who does that? ugh.

Oh no! It's Monday and you don't have food and your Schwan's delivery was rescheduled for Saturday????

What ever will u do??? I have an idea..... Take your *** to the *** store! Cuz I guarantee Schwan's isn't bringing your basic necessities now are they??

I was having food delivered because I was recovering from a broken ankle and could barely walk. I could not drive.

The only person I knew in my area was in the hospital. What the *** did you expect me to do? I literally did not have food in my house other than dry noodles. Even if I didn't need to have it delivered, it's my business.

If I pay for a service, I expect them to deliver. What's your problem? Get a life.

You must be a pathetic person to harass people on a complaint forum. Is your last name Schwan?

Welcome to Schwan's World. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing & they don't even care!!

One person you talk to on the phone passes you to another, where you have to explain the problem all over again!! Then they say it's not their department you need to talk to, so they start another transfer!!

ENOUGH is ENOUGH Schwan's, people are starting to catch on & cancel & go buy where they care about your purchase & making the customer satisfied. Not sure how they are even still in business!!!

best to go to grocery store...you can get the same stuff cheaper and fresher stock

When you order online the order goes to the call center in Minnesota. There is no gurantee that your order will be delivered on time,even though the website says you can order up to midnight and get it the next day.

There is still no gurantee.

There is a delay in the process from the call center to the local depot. You still may have a delivery driver show up but they will know nothing about you ordering online or that you cancelled your order.
