I worked for Scentura Creations for 4 days, and what a f****ng joke. For any one who decides to work for them, don't!!

They promise you your own office and great pay, F**k that!!!! They will brain wash you and potentially F**k your life over completely. They will lie to you and tell you what you want to hear and their the fakest Mother F****rs you'll ever meet. Scentura Creations is the biggest SCAM you'll ever come across.

They train you to lie, cheat, and steal just to make a measly $5-$10 dollars a day for a ten hour day. They are nothing but a bunch of thieves who aren't even making money themselves. 3094c0b

I can't believe how people rush to the defense of this pseudo-pyramid scheme. They are either willfully blind or have no moral compass.
Designers International, xxx Enterprises, Blah-Blah Wholesale, whatever incarnation it is at any given moment, are all connected to either Scentura or World Perfume. Their recruiting practices are misleading, dishonest and unethical. People considering this "opportunity" - please read the negative comments here and on other complaint sites. I cannot vouch for individual experiences and unique horror stories, but be assured that the "business model" is always the same.
The defenders of this scheme always try to emphasize that this is a "business opportunity". I have yet to see a single one of their ubiquitous "Management Trainee" classified ads state this in print.
The defenders of this scheme always state that "it's not for everyone". Correct. It’s not for anyone who wants to sleep soundly at night and pay their bills.
The whole system is based on lies. The recruits are lied to and misled before they even walk in the door. They are then trained to lie to prospective customers. If they lie long enough and well enough, they get to open their own office, become a Chief Liar and perpetuate the scam.
The defenders of the system insist that it's not a pyramid scheme. Bull. Sure, the recruits don't directly shell out money up front, but what about the fuel spent driving around during "training" for 6-8+ weeks? What about the

This is so true. I used to work for these people 11 yrs ago. i worked for them for 4 months before i left. BEWARE!!! This is a scam. They will have you sale merchandise on the street for hours without providing you with a licence to sale merchandise on the street. If you get arrested for soliciting, they will not get you out of jail and you have to pay SC back the money for the merchandise that was taken from you by the police. Additionally, you dont see a pay check. you money is $3.00 off each perfume you sale for $20.00. every person you pitch if they dont buy the knock off perfume then you are trained to ask for a "donation". And as for those whose saying this isn't a scam, thats because you are the scam artist. don't waste your time with this bull ***. I see people selling SC perfume and they try to through that pitch: "Hi i'm in the area today doing a..... where all of our perfume is half off today. you then spary the G.U.M.P.'s hand, have them smell it, gas them up and tell the lie of all time that the bottle is ONLY $20.00". LOL. So you go ahead and be SC G.U.M.P.'s

So obviously the ones who are upset are those who do not put in the hard work and take pride in the product. Obviously those who are upset are those who did not get past the 2 phases. Obviously, those who are upset listen to everyone and not themselves. those who are upset are those who give up easily and let the opportunity of a lifetime pass them by. so in the end....HAVE A GREAT DAY!! :grin

:eek My Gf has been working with Scentura for a couple weeks now. These people have their own lingo and culture and it has drawn her in because she has been successful selling the product.

However she has yet to see any returns for her work except for the $150 for meeting a sales goal and the $50/wk (I think) for being on time to work everyday..

She was promised a base salary of 30,000 and they have made her go out on corners and sell this knock off product for $2 profit per sale(she has had two so- called promotions to earn the $2 per bottle mark).

I am a business major and have done some researching. Their product is not illegal and I think they might get employees to sign a contract stating they are independent contractors, which is shady in its own right considering they offered a base salary... I am going to go over the paperwork my gf has filled out when she gets back home.(if she has filled anything out..)

I am reading through my old HR textbooks to see if I can figure anythign else out.. If you have any information please let me know. My gf has no college education and just got out of the restarant business and we were happy that this was a bright opportunity..

Which for some reason she has convinced me so.. but i know in my heart this is wrong.. Please contact me with any additional info you all may have on this company.

NOTE: when you start you will be in a room full of many people thinking they are hired for the same position. you will be talked about the business and what to do. you will have to sell the product by words on the person who is teaching you. you will have to sell the product without really having the product in your hands. BEWARE: if you do sell certain amount of perfume during that day awesome, but what happens??? since you literally have to tell the consumer what you are told that the perfume is the real thing people believe and trust you so they buy for a reasonable price. but dont let that fool you, once scentura creations gives you the product and then theconsumer realizes it is not the REALthin you will be looking for problems. THis happened to me. I did what i was told believed SC on being the real thing. When it came to take the merchandise to my client oh boy they were not happy. Literally she said she wanted her money back and i said i would try to see waht i could do. She harrassed me almost every day and called me like a stalker. when i told the ppl at SC about it they just shrugged and told me So what can we do???? I was like wtf??? first i said if this person sues you will be held accountable... one, yes my fault was only trying to sell a product thinking it was the real thing, two, i accepted the check but never cashed it, ppl at SC cashed it so it would be brought on them whoever cashed it. well things only became a nightmare after that... but... it is sad that this business is still going on and misleading people. trust me guys it is a "scam". you will be working all hours nights evenings and weekends without resting and for what $5 - $10 profit for selling a bottle of cologne or perfume for $20???? they are going to bust your butts off to work so much and if you have a car, i say act like you don't have one. they are going to make you use your car to travel far miles away from home and they do not give you any money for fixing anything. i am telling you this cuz this happened to me 10 years ago. i would work every day and until wee hours and we couldnt go back without making certain amount of money. i would use my car to travel beyond distances so why? to sell perfume? and when i had a flat tire? who helped??? no one. they worry on when you will get it fixed to keep working. it is sad that this company still exists... they do brainwash you... i even went home talking different and saying bad words... that is not me... i prefer to work legit in a company where you are getting a steady pay check. Remember if you dont sell you wont get any moeny. there were times i would go hungry cuz i had no income coming in... so if you got hired now to start as a so called customer services representative, administrative assistant, office clerk there BEWARE it is a scam. and that time you lose for working for them, you could be actually looking for a real job or unemployment while you look.

These people go by the name of Elite Management LLC here in Washington State. They are running a shady operation. They have nothing with their name on it and have the nerve to expect for you to fill out a screening questionaire asking personnel questions such as are you renting or own your home, do you have a car, etc. I applied for a Office Asst. position, told they were opening up 2 new offices, but did not know exactly when, told me I would be making x amount of dollars, wanted to me to attend unpaid training/orientation (illegal) I asked about new employee paperwork I-9, W-2, etc. said I would get that after training - they have nothing with their name on it. I asked for a business card twice - was told "Oh, I just ran out of cards". I did not receive a job description, start date or nothing - just come back for orientation. These people need to be reported/class action suit?

they are all a part of Scentura. Its just every person who becomes an "Owner" get their location and create a name. I was in MGM Management. when i went to their regional convention, there were different offices or units (i should call them) that were there. they all have different names but are all part of sentura. I almost became an owner. but i left when i got tired of their bull ***. i was 18 yrs old, didn't know better and ignorant. You live and learn. THIS IS A SCAM, BIG TIME!!!!

This company has been pulling this nonsense since the late 80's. The newspaper ad back then said "Future so bright you gotta wear shades!" I went to the interview for a management position and was asked to go out with one of their salesman. It turned out to be a cute girl so I went. We spent the whole day walking around downtown Minneapolis trying to sell perfume to businesses and individuals on the street.
This is obviously a sham business. I was just to *** to know at the time!

Went to first interview yesterday. First question ask was how old are you! I was shocked. After reading these comments, I don't believe I'll waste my gas for the second interview. I desperately need a real job.

also when you sell the bottle you only get donations. The bottles in tx are like $35 but rarely would someone buy it that much so you can sell it to $20. If you sell it for $35 you only keep $5 and the rest to your manger. That money will go straight for gas and food. Thats it. You do not get paid how long you work. You do not get paid at all. It will be hard to sell those bottles. People will call the poilce on you if you try to sell at a place you are not suppose to be.You think this job will be cool. Wait for a week and you will posting how this is a scam.

This is a scam. You work at 8 till after midnight selling bottles that are fake. They lie to when you first start. They tell you its a 3 months program when it can take longer. You do not even get paid at all. They dont care if you lose everything. People lost their wives, or husbands, or bf or gf. If you have a dog that needs to go to the vet, they will tell you to put that dog down or give it away. They do not care if you are hungry all they want is you to merch to sell those fakes bottles. People are living in the streets cuz they do not get paid. They will tell you the bottles are real but once you finished the program they will tell you its fake and the scent lasts least than 30 mins on you. DO not work for Ana, she will brain wash you, teach you how to lie, steal, and treat people like trash and only care about yourself. This is not a real job at all. They will tell you they will pay for your move but guess what you have to. The money you earn after you finish the program. They will keep it and control what you can do with it. They will tell you to get an apartment in one day when you cant. Buy a new desk at one place when you can go somewhere else to get something cheaper. They say they do not fire you but they will blow you out,. Blow you out means fire you. They will try to fire you when you finish the program. People lost everything from this program and they do not care at all. the police needs to fix this so called job.
