In an effort to get a better understanding of Mr. Powell’s complaint, we spoke to him last week. Mr. Powell made it very clear to us that he doesn’t want to keep the water treatment system. He is not happy with the dealer and stated there is nothing we can do to make him happy. We explained to Mr. Powell that we would like the opportunity to have a representative meet with him, test his water and go over the equipment to insure that it is working properly. The lender has a legal right to review your paperwork and, if something new appears on your credit report or if there is a change in employment, they reserve the right to make the final decision to approve or decline the loan. We have reached out to our dealer in Florida and at this time all of Mr. Soto’s concerns and issues have been addressed. We would like to point out that all of our distributors are independently owned and operated and it is our policy that we refer all of our customer’s to their local dealers for proper service and support. Further, our warranty on systems manufactured in 2003 is a limited lifetime warranty. We have been in touch with our authorized dealer who services Upper Marlboro, Maryland. They provided us with a service order dated March 24, 2016 showing they provided the customer a service/maintenance call. The work order shows the customer is on city water, which tested 0-grains hardness and 0-chlorine after the water equipment. The water from the reverse osmosis tested over 90% TDS reduction. Each piece of equipment is working properly based off of the water tests performed on the 24th. The technician noted he couldn’t find anything... Read more

We have spoken with our dealer regarding this matter and they provided us the following response: We installed Mr. Eger’s equipment in October 2015 and at the time of the install were told to tie the new equipment in to the lines of another brand filter/softener. We offered to run new lines and the customer refused. We also went out in November 2015 to install a whole house filter for them. We have been in touch with Mr. Eger and have offered to come out and see what might be the problem. We have been told that Mr. Eger has refused this... Read more

We have spoken with our dealer in New Jersey regarding this matter and they have acknowledged their part in the miscommunication that took place between them and the customer. Process changes have been made to prevent future issues of this kind. The customer is correct regarding the problems that occurred more than once with his laundry product. A representative from RainSoft visited the customer, and they stated that they loved the laundry product but was concerned about the problems they were experiencing. We reached out to the servicing dealer and received the following response – The customer requested service in October 2014 due to the system leaking. The servicing dealer agreed to fix the leak at no charge but unfortunately the customer cancelled this appointment and never called back to reschedule. The dealer confirmed that they do sell filters to customers who want to replace them themselves, but for whole house carbon filter media replacement, it is recommended that a trained technician perform this service.
