The Rainsoft System failed after 15 months in service., I contacted the dealer/installer and was told the warranty was void because of a change in ownership of the home. I did not know how to contact Rainsoft directly, so I vented on Pissed Consumer. I was pleasantly surprised that Rainsoft monitors the blogs and cares about their customers and product. I was contact by Susan at Rainsoft. She put... Read more

We had a problem at first with the placing of the equipment but they came out right away and fixed it fast and efficiently. We even recommended our neighbors to take a look at Rain Soft and they bought one! Amy W YEMECULA CA Read more

I love our Rainsoft system. Most of my family has eczema and in the short time of having our system, all of our skin has dramatically improved. I'm also very picky about the way the water I drink tastes and our water from the osmosis tap tastes fantastic!!! Such an expensive system made me nervous and although I wish I was cheaper, I do not regret it! I also love all the soap and cleaning... Read more

I spoke to the following customer today regarding his complaint. It appears he had contacted a non RainSoft representative who gave him incorrect information regarding his system. Parts are still available for his system and I have placed an order for the parts he needs, which should be leaving our facility today. These parts are covered under warranty and are being sent to him at no charge. Read more

Bought softener for quite a cost in 2004. Within 2 yrs had timer replaced 3 times with a service call charge of 80.00. The last timer lasted maybe a month and we have manually tripped timer for past 10 years. Finally, I'm getting rid of unit and buying a 10 yr "throw-away" Kennmore to replace it at less that 1/5 the cost of the rainsoft unit. Am on well water and a missed re-generation... Read more

To continue statement. Why do I get charged for something under warrenty. I know this company be apart of bbb and Angie's list. If not for myself over seeing work being done, the work/craftsmanship is very very poor. If the product is so good, way do they give u 3000 dollars of mid grade soap. And yes, I truly one of the techs where under the influence . I even help dig the hole, when unit sits,... Read more

We contacted the selling distributor who, at this time, has addressed the customer’s complaint. It appears there was a misunderstanding regarding the total cost whereby the selling price never changed. It appears the customer did not understand there would be interest with the financing. Once reviewed, the distributor came to an agreement with the customer. If you have any questions about this... Read more

after a very expensive filter replacement (over $200.00) the tubing came lose and starting flooding the kitchen. lucky I was home, it was a big mess. all they are interested in is selling you more filter replacements. it was an expensive system (abt. $800.00) I took it out. its all a ripoff. I developed a high level of distrust in the system and workmanship. the tubing goes thru the floor into... Read more

We have addressed this matter with our RainSoft Distributor in Oklahoma City, OK. It appears the Mason’s water pressure spiked at one point causing water to blow past the seals on their water conditioner. We recommend using a pressure gauge to confirm that the water pressure does not exceed 120 psi. If the water pressure does exceed this limit, a pressure regulator is needed. The minimum water...
