1 year and 4 months after using my 50 inch plasma Panasonic Viera the TV never turned on but the the power light flashed 8 times every 3-4 seconds. Reviews state it can be a number of SS/SC board problems and all are highly expensive. I will probably get a different TV with the money. I will keep you guys updated if I do end up fixing it. Purchased 65" Z series Plasma on 1-10-14 from Panasonic Direct. TV was delivered on 1-24-14 broken. Damage was not apparent until set was powered up more than an hour after receipt due to cold temps here. Outdoors it was 12F. TV had extensive impact damage to internal glass panel. February 4, 2014 I bought the Panasonic Viera TC-L47ET5 LED TV on December 22, 2012 from Amazon ($849.99 sale – originally $1,299.99) and received the tv about 2 weeks later. Bought a 50" plasma, lasted 6 weeks and power box went out and been told no service tech in area. I been waiting for 7 days with no return calls , placed on hold for a hour just to be told the same thing over. We are trying to contact a repair person in your area. Purchased a Panasonic Plazma and after less than 4 months it stopped working- store technician came to my home and said it was a screen defect - Panasonic said they reviewed the pictures and its not a defect. Them seeing pictures is somehow more informative than an actual Tech seeing the TV - total blow-off by Panasonic, no appeal - nothing, just "your claim has been reviewed have a nice day" ... we have a broken Plazma TC-P60ST60 that about 30 days old and stopped working. We have been told several times 24 to 48 response and its been 30 days with not one call. I just want it exchanged at this point because they don't have replacement parts. we paid $1623.74 AT BEST BUY. the service department reads off of a script and has no way to escalate anything. they just repeat the same thing... After buying panasonic air purify, it really hard to buy the spare part! No only shopping, the part is out of stock, pre-order must come to service center and pay 1st than wait 2 weeks. And no courier help, must get it your self. Overall lose 2 precious days to get the bad panasonic spare part. At my location, Jakarta, I need about 1-2 hours to reach the panasonic service center. Shaver went Dead three times returned sent me inferior model customer service worst ever never buy Panasonic bought this shaver for Christmas returned it three times and never got it to last for two years.
