Bought a set which includes a top and skirt. They mailed the top with a letter saying the skirt was on backorder. Called a month later after never hearing about the skirt and it was discontinued. Now I have the top with no matching skirt with no refund since I had the top and washed it thinking the skirt was coming. they won't give me money back on Jacket they said they didn't receive. I mailed it back Dec. 2,2013. The worst company ever. Rude people. I have called them numerous times and they said in the beginning call back after the holidays, then they said you have to wait at least 6 weeks. after 6 weeks they would say we don't show that we received it, go to your post office and put a trace on it. ... Buyer beware — Don’t use their online coupons your you will be roped into their “VIP” program…. It charges you $12.95 — not sure for what? Discounts??? Apparently I signed up for this rip off and they sent me an email notifying me that I was enrolled but the problem was it went into a spam folder. I stupidly overpaid on my order of 3 weeks ago, so I may've initially caused the mess, but other companies would send the items with a refund check. It took 7 calls and approximately 45 mins of phone time to finally get a rep that could talk to a supervisor, who in turn could tell me that they would actually do what they should've done all along: mail the items with a refund check. I recently mailed an order to Northstyle using a catalog form order and paid with a check. I paid the amount of shipping required and applied that to the product. I placed an order with this company yesterday. At the time that I placed the order, the amount was charged against my acount. At the time that they shipped the order, today, another charge for the same amount (176.83)! I was hoping to get the VIP free shipping but when I tried to order online it wasn't offered to me. It was written somewhere you get it AFTER you place your first online order. (?) Weird. Somehow I was roped into this "club" (perhaps to receive free shipping) but to my recollection there was no explanation of a continuing charge that appeared a few weeks later. I have placed an inquiry with the credit card company and received a refund but this may not be enough to turn off the charge permanently.
