Approx. On Feb. 23, 2014 I called to transfer a phone number to a new android phone. Should have been a easy and simple transaction. I did the same thing with straight talk and had no problem. Anyway they lost my number said it was used (still on my old phone) old phone not deactivated yet. Finally said to follow *22890 for activation. Phone activated, problem number not attached. I had been a Net 10 customer for a couple of years and then one of the two phones got dropped in water and didn't work anymore. I purchased minutes with 60 days and unlimited roll over so even if you used up your days on one aircard you could add them to the next. My telephone was stolen at the hospital that I work at. I called and told them it was stolen and I would like to salvage my telephone number as I have all of my business and personal contact numbers in conjuction with my pictures of my family. Purchased a net 10 calling card and activation kit. Was unable to activate phone. Called customer service - was ran around in circles in excess of 30 minutes and eventually told that the only way to resolve my issue was to fax information to them! Not email - not phone but FAX! STILL Net10 doesn't tell customers they have to use a credit card online to buy the most cost efficient 1500 minute card. NET10 couldn't care less. Such a simple easy fix and NET10 can't get it done. Terrible, terrible customer service. Secondly, when I called CS I got a guy named Jean. Even people in India couldn't have understood this guy. I literally had to phonetically EVERY word. ... I got a 200 minute airtime card and activated it and never got my 200 minutes. i contacted customer support and i was told because i scratched off the numbers on the back of the card they could not refund my money. I asked customer support to transfer my old cell phone number to my new cell phone and i called my old number and a woman answered. I got a 300 minute airtime card and activated it... Read more

i purchased 600 minutes of airtime minutes from Pinzoo.com for my Net 10 phone and only received 300 minutes.Upon calling Pinzoo ,and after two customers reps and a promised phone call from a supervisor and finally a promise they would call net 10 and call me back.Nothing.i never got the call back.in one of the conversations they said i needed to call net 10.been trying to do that to.no luck.Oh... NET10 sells its phones so you can buy more time and minutes at thousands of stores around the country. NET10 even puts a store locator on its website. WHAT they don't tell you is that the most cost efficient 1500 minutes card is NOT sold in stores. So you, THEIR customer, drives around and around trying to find it. Why not? After having service for TEN MONTHS Net10 service suddenly quits, and upon calling, has lost ALL RECORD of my wife's phone, and worse her phone number which she's had for 10 years.
