nCrowd - They work with illegitimate businesses
I spent $63 on a carpet cleaning deal through this company in Atlanta. My carpet wasn't very bad, I don't have pets and I have my own carpet cleaner and last cleaned the carpet about 6 months ago. When the carpet cleaner came out, he recommended paying $20 extra for pretreatment, which I agreed to because I'm 8 months pregnant and want things very clean for baby. He also informed me about a fuel charge that was not in the fine print, and I live in the service area so I was very confused.
I wanted five rooms, a hallway and set of stairs cleaned. So he started upstairs. He finished the 3 rooms upstairs, hallway, and stairs in like 20 minutes. Which I thought was odd, how could it get clean if he moved so fast. Then he spent about 10 minutes downstairs and said he was done. I couldn't tell the condition of the carpets because they were wet, but I mentioned how could he move so fast? He laughed it off.
The carpets took much longer than his recommended 7-8 hours to dry. Took more like 24 hours. After it dried, I could see how the carpets were dirtier than before the cleaning. So he basically left me with wet dirty carpets, and spots from his "pretreatment".
I contacted Ncrowd and basically after almost a month of emailing back and forth, they offer me a $10 credit. What a slap in the face, they can keep their credit because I will never waste my time with them ever again. There customer service is terrible and they don't care as long as they take your money. So now at 9 months pregnant, I guess I'll have to clean the carpets myself.
It was a big fat waste of time and money.
