OK First off, I purchased 133 points through MGV back in 2001. Just like everyone else my wife and I got the points thinking we were going to take some vacations and take our little boys o Disney land and other places. Take control of your investment in Monarch Grand Vacations and vote for a Board of Directors who are Owners in MGV and value their investment as you do! Attend the annual meeting in Las Vegas on March 26, 2014 or at least vote for the two available positions on the Board. After purchasing monarch and rarely using it my husband and I have been trying to get rid f it. We've been told we can upgrade, and sell it (said the salesperson while the company was filing bankruptcy). I got suckered in to buying this *** as well as a whole lot of people. I did not know they were going bankrupt until I read some of these comments. Go figure! The first thing is that I was mislead about the fees! I went in under the deception that I had won a raffle drawing and had no idea that I was going to be milked out of thousands of dollars by their hurry up last chance quick talking, you must purchase today to get this wonderful (NOT) deal! This timeshare company hoodwinked alot of folks out of their money and placed us in a position to where we could never off load this piece of junk time share. Monarch Grand Vacations went bankrupt shortly after I purchased my timeshare. I did not receive the quality service I signed up for my time share. MGV did a bad job of managing their end of thier bargain. Diamond took over and it his high way robbery with the fees. They say they gave you an option to opt out. No they did not. I did not get documention to opt like one of the other dissatisfied clients. I got the same bull!*%$# about being to late to opt out. You can add another 30K to the losses. That is what I have paid over the years. My 2k /yr fees are *** especially since nothing is available for points but lots of getaways for extra money. Liars thiefs and goats. I refuse to pay the fees. I have been a member since 1998 and fees have increased steadily over the years but this year they doubled since Diamond took over. My husband and I bought into this horrible company 6 years ago just to be turned down for every reservation we attempted to make. They did not keep up with their lies of being able to book vacations on 4th of July or New Years Eve. Now that they are under Diamond Resorts, those crooks are tyring to make me pay more to get out of what they called "a failing company". Gee...thanks for that. I... Read more

Maintenance fees are out of control and keep going up! About the last 2 years, we haven't been able to book a room. We've been told, their are no rooms available. I would be put on call list.
