We purchased 11 new Marvin casement windows last year only to see frost across the bottom of the glass every time it got below 0 this winter. We then applied shrink plastic & kept the humidity at 28% but still had frost. Last week we had 2 Marvin window techs come to inspect. What A JOKE! Before even looking at the windows their explanation was that everyone had frost on their windows because... Read more

My parents built their house in 1991. After about seven years, the springs in the sash lifters cut through the cast fitting that attaches to the sash, disconnecting the spring. Buy new springs and replace the lifters. Better do both at once while you're at it. Repeat every seven years or so. I wouldn't put them in my house if they were free. Did I mention the phony sash muttins? Flimsy at best,... Read more

I have a newly built sunroom. The architect recommended Marvin -- windows were important. The windows had this large square logo that was like a magnetic sticker; they seemed to peel off easily. I have done everything in my power, but the "square" is forever there; you cannot get it off. It may appear to be gone, but let a bright, sunny day come along, and there it is right in the middle of... Read more

We live in a busy street and we decided to change our 30 year old windows by soundproof windows. We decided to go for Marvin Infinity as they offer the option for glass with dissimilar glass thickness which is supposed to reduce the sound transmission. The windows are nice, but in term of noise, they are just as bad as the one we had before! this has been a real waist of money. I have contacted... Read more

My home is just turning 10 years old. I "upgraded" to Marvin Integrity wood windows. I have had to plastic them since the second winter in the home. Unbelievable! I cannot even sit near the patio door in the window due to the transferred cold air penetrating my home and causing my energy bills to go through the roof! For a Minnesota based company, I am very sad and ashamed they will not... Read more

We built a house three years ago and installed Marvin Integrity Windows. These windows SUCK! We have had Marvin out twice as we have had ice build up on the inside of the windows. they have blamed everything but the windows. Our humidity in our house is 30%. They have blaimed humidity and the positioning of our heat ducts. They do not stand behind an inferior product. I will never recommend... Read more

Marvin promised to have our windows at the house 2 weeks before demolition day. They arrived 3 weeks late and then were the entirely wrong product and were broken. After not hearing a word from them for a week we had to order from another company and then then Marvin said it was against "Corporate policy" to refund as they were a custom product. After 6 months of these windows being in our garage... Read more

We built a new house in 2008-09 and the general contractor recommended Marvin windows. Not knowing any better we went along with the recommendation. We have been very disappointed in the windows. The screens fit so badly we might as well have none. The seals leak cold air in the winter and hot air in the summer and are ripping at the lower part of the sides. The bottom seals are falling off and I... Read more
