I continually asked how do I make money and they would never answer me. They were more concerned with me recruiting people as opposed to me selling products

I wanted to just sell cosmetics and was told that I could buy at a 40% discount or more and resell however I wanted to. Once I signed up I was immediately asked for more recruit names and told I was to attend a mandatory meeting the next day and I had to go to at 3 more. These meetings had nothing to do with makeup. They were recruitment meetings for Market America. I did not see anything in... Read more

I have lost thousands of my hard-earned money to Market America for its worthless training materials, yearly and monthly fees, and expensive products I do not need at all. I want to warn all of you innocent working-poor people that Market America is a Ponzi scheme! It pays their "sales" people with subsequent "sales" people's payments. You can never get paid till you have about 300 - 500... Read more

I had received $300 in gift certificates as a birthday gift in November 2012, I have had soooo many problems trying to actually activate the gift certificates then to only find that im only allowed to by one cart items (which have nothing in stock). I live in Canada and now the problems seems that i cannot purchase anything from USA, it has to be in Canada...but they dont have any stores that i... Read more

Was recruited to be part of a makeup artist team bridal team. One requirement was to use MA products on clients. Then was told that to use the products and join the team you have to join MA. They then sold the idea of a business opportunity to me and how i would earn money off business volume etc. I was on the fence and the deal breaker for me was that in addition to all these requirements if... Told my wife not to join MA. She lied to me and joined, 3 months later she told me. She's been working this business for 11yrs. She is still not making the "money" they said she could. They make you pay for training every yr. Basic 5, what a joke. she had to pay about $300. Month for product. A very few actually make the big money. I've seen lots of divorced couples, the spouses forget they have... Read more

I am pleased to acknowledge the professional individuals I have met and those same persons mentored me through a successful weight loss program and physician approved Isotonix supplements have also been taken with successful results. I am grateful to the educated people I have met through Market America and will continue to explore the Shop.com network for their cash back program. I will use... Read more

I learned that you HAVE to do the research before giving away money, no matter how much you trust/believe the person who introduced you to the "business opportunity" with a "proven business plan." So PLEASE read my comment sincerely, because I don't want anyone else to fall for this trap -- I truly believed this could work, and truly was frauded. I am a student in Manhattan and was introduced... Read more

We are couples living together peacefully till one day, my wife joined the Market America. I am a thrifty spender and my wife does not work, but easily get influenced by other people. I only want her to find something to work on to supplement the family and to give her some sense of independence. However, once she joined the MA, all she does are buying staffs from MA, in thousands, for two... Read more

Market America sells a line of weight loss products. There dealer ginned it up like it was the best thing since sliced bread. Then tried to get me to join. I finally did. A total waste of time and money about $2,500 out of my pocket!!! I should have done my due diligence. The only people that make money at this scam are at the top. They have a bunch of people running through the system. ... Read more
