In the early morning I went to my kitchen to prepare frozen apple juice. I felt cold and weak and I shook the can to defrost the juice. Suddenly everything turned BLACK. This customer has had Life Alert for 2 ½ years with no service problems. Three weeks ago, the landline, which is serviced by AT&T, suddenly stopped working. Telephone providers generally make updates to their services without notifying Life Alert or the customer. Life Alert’s cutting edge, technology advanced, equipment is expensive and is on loan to our subscribers for the duration that they need our service, as stated in our service agreement. Once our service is cancelled, we pay to have our equipment shipped back to us, and it is strongly suggested that we receive our equipment as soon as possible so that we can cancel the account and notify the... Unfortunately, the calls you are receiving is a nationwide scam from medical alert imposters using automated (robo) calls claiming to be Life Alert. Life Alert takes its role I saving lives very seriously. Our Tech Installers are not employees. They are independent contractors who own their own businesses in which we help support by procuring their services. Our installation payment is very fair and this is why we have independent contractors that provide their services to us for many years.
