My mom’s iron went very low that day she fell, we have told her several times to use her Life Alert button but she didn’t want to bother anyone (bless her heart) but the night she fell she got scared and said she kept hearing us kids tell her to push the button. After speaking with complainant it seems that his main issue is that our sales offices always have to get a "Manager's Approval" about what he charges only to finally agreement to his price. He feels that getting authorization is demeaning and unprofessional for him to hear. this company has the absolute worst customer service ever and they lie i put the initial pay,went on a system for my mom but did not have her address handy to give to them they took it upon themselves to find her address and mail the product there meanwhile the address they found and shipped this product to WAS NOT HER ADDRESS i called and spoke to a manger who was so so awful and rude she... I initiated an agreement for Life Alert for my mother's home after she was diagnosed with cancer. While I paid for the monthly bill and initiated the agreement, when they went to install the unit in the house they had my mother "sign" an agreement (which she was unable to read). Although we can appreciate the complainant’s frustration, unfortunately it is misdirected at Life Alert. The complainant’s mother signed an agreement that explained that Life Alert will cancel the agreement if the user (in this case complainant’s mother) “enters into a skilled nursing facility or has 24 hour in-home professional care…” The complainant’s mother moved into an assisted living... Life Alert takes its role in saving lives very seriously. Unfortunately in the past, family members had cancelled this life saving service while their elderly loved ones still needed it; and it led to people not getting help in a timely manner. We listened to several phone calls between the complainant and our representatives, and we could not find where our dispatcher used an inappropriate or a dismissive tone.
