Again, the [Life Alert] necklace was useful for my husband, rather than myself. He choked, aspirated and stopped breathing. By pushing the [Life Alert] button, it left me free to resuscitate him rather than dealing with 911 myself. By the time EMTs arrived from an outlying area (at least 15 minutes), we had him breathing and up sitting in a chair—sent him to the emergency room. He now has a feeding tube and is still in rehab hospital. If I had... Read more

My friend came to see me in the evening around 7:00 PM and I was planning to spend the night with me as we had plans to do something together the next day. She fell after she got out of her car to come to my front door, I had on my Life Alert button and called them and [EMTs] were here in less than 5 minutes I think. Very nice, very kind, and very courteous. Five men came to my door. [EMTs] offered to take my friend to the hospital, but she... Read more

A client since 2006, my mother received nothing but the best of service from Life Alert; whether responding to her need for medical assistance or one of us contacting customer service. Whether an actual emergency or an accidental alert (which she was never made to feel bad about), responders beginning with customer service to medical attendants were always prompt, professional, courteous and caring. What really impressed me were the updates our... Read more

Yesterday we were unable to get in touch with my step-mother after numerous calls and banging on her. She has fallen previously and broke her hip, so we were concerned. She had a life alert lockbox on her door so I called the 800 number at life alert to get the combination. After giving her my name, her name, phone numbers and addresses they finally told me that they did not have the combination because my step mother never called it in. We were... Read more

Life Alert takes saving lives very seriously, and that is why we are the industry leader in personal protection. However, we also understand that life situations change for our customers and that is why Life Alert has a cancellation clause which states if the patient needs to go into a health care facility that all the family need do is to have that facility fax us a confirmation and the patient will be released from the agreement with no... Life Alert 's reply to:

All of our emergency signals are automatically time stamped and recorded. This emergency signal was answered in 31 seconds and the dispatcher was on the phone with 911 in 70 seconds. It was Life Alert who dispatched the paramedics and they were on scene within 7 minutes. The call was for a subscriber who initially was not breathing and shortly after two-way was gained, the subscriber started breathing. These times can also be verified with the... Read more

Life Alert approaches each customer with a personable approach and wants to ensure we are offering the service that meets the specific customer’s needs. This is why we do not do business via email. Life Alert has designed a “no obligation” process to where all that is discussed is written up in an agreement that is sent to the customer upon order to review at their own leisure. Before the customer accepts the service, the terms and... Read more

Mother wore her pendant, Life Alert, all the time. She arose out of bed (8:25 AM), the morning of Friday, February 2, 2016 and came to breakfast and sat down at the table to eat what I had fixed for her (8:35 AM). As she was eating, all of a sudden, she went sideways to the left, grabbed her left upper arm and cried out. I quickly got out of my chair at the breakfast table and went over to her and with both hands straightened her back up.... Read more

A couple of weeks ago I was sitting at my dining room table writing checks for bills. I stood up and was putting stamps on envelopes when I became light-headed and tingly in both arms and legs, I waited a while and decided I needed to find out if I was going to have a stroke. I pushed my [Life Alert] pendant button for the first time ever. I unlocked my front door and sat in a chair. Soon, [Life Alert] responder answered and I told him what was... Read more

I am completing this form on behalf of my mother. My five sisters and I purchased Life Alert for our mother and father for their 55th wedding anniversary last year. Mom had suffered two heart attacks. All went well until one day, January 2016, dad called and said, “Your mother’s having another heart attack!” I said, “Tell her to push the [Life Alert] button around her neck or go and hit the [Life Alert] box now! Give her nitrogen drops now!”... Read more
