We looked at purchasing a home through them beginning in January 2013. On Jan.

3, 2013 I took in a partial down payment. I was given a "receipt" and told to let them know when we could bring the rest. Well one thing led to another and we were told several different versions of why they could or could not help us. On January 9, 2013 after being fed up for the final time with their "stories" we asked in writing via email for the paperwork to get a refund of the down payment.

We had not signed a contract etc at this point. We waited for paperwork and it never came. On January 19, 2013 my husband physiclly went in and got the paperwork. He brought it home and we attached and scanned and emailed and faxed the request into the office.

We called to verify they had received it and said it would take 10-14 days to process. Well here we are at about day 16 into 17 and NO REFUND! We called Friday as that would have been day 14 and were told yet another story that it had been over looked and would be mailed Saturday. Well today when no check came, again we called and well in quotes is what the owner/manager said to my wife "we don't give a ***, do you realize *** that today is only Tuesday?" My wife replied with well if in fact you mailed it Friday or Saturday then we should have gotten it today.

He hung up on her after telling her that it will come someday.

She contacted the attorney she works for and they are filing paperwork to get the refund and possibly more first thing in the morning. We will keep all posted on what happens as I honestly do not think the refund has been processed and mailed at all.

Monetary Loss: $1600.

I'm also a very pissed off customer with my dealer and legacy. DOES ANYONE KNOW AN ATTORNEY WHO IS WILLING TO TAKE A CASE AGAINST LEGACY.
