This past summer, I submitted a complaint about HHGregg on this site, reading a few other posted complaints. When recently returning to this site, I have now read NUMEROUS negative HHGregg comments, far more grievous than my own, and I am utterly appalled, horrified, incredulous, etc. by what I have read !! On monday night I walk into hhgregg aventura to buy a television a appliance employee hector walk me out of the store told me that come tomorrow better prices I came the next day and tv price change from 1499 to 1699 I told hector the price change he said good bye lady he wouldn't not let me speak told me to leave and that he only works in appliances he send me to tvs I waited 30 minutes for a tv... I had my appliances delivered/installed. During the process the delivery guy David ripped my flooring and became irate at me when I became upset about it. David threatened me and told me he was going to leave my appliances on my driveway and leave..I paid for delivery and installation so that was not ok. Now trying to get the company to pay for my flooring replacement is a 3 ring circus! Horrible... Read more

Went into the Dayton Mall store a week ago to purchase a Samsung TV that I discussed with a salesperson in detail about prior to going to the store (phone) and was told the TV was a open box that was only in the customers home for a day?? Rebate customer service agents stated that the item I purchased was not eligible for $100 gift card rebate because I only paid $49.99 for the device (an iPhone 5c). Nowhere on the rebate form does it state that there was a minimum purchase price to qualify for the rebate. I purchased the phone on Black Friday during a “door buster” deal. If it sounds too good to be true, don't buy it! Happen 3 weeks after I bought the Curtis 32" had tv. Had 2 black bars across the screen. I remembered I bought the warranty from HHGregg. They didn't honor it, and told me to call the manufacture. I called the manufacture, and they told me it would cost as much as the tv to fix the problem. Bought a warranty on our 55" smart tv: when it needed service the fine line print would not allow the service guy to bring anyone to help him handle the TV. So basically you are going to sale a warranty to a large product you know can only be physically maneuvered by 2 or more people, but then fine line that the warranty will only allow one person to do the service.
