when i had my furniture del on dec 5 th the delivery people broke my gate and never told me i even tipped them which made me even madder that they didnt tell me & then i contacted custmer service and they said they would take care of it well guess what it is dec 30 th and i am still waiting for them to repair they keep sending out phil who apperently is not a fence guy because hes been here... TOTALLY RIDICULOUS. I ordered a $1,000 bed. Delivery set for today wed, 5pm. I received a call at 5pm stating 9 pm. I took a day off of work but NO bed. It s now 11 pm! I paid for delivery! I m out a days work, and very upset. Harlem furniture customer service closes at 8 pm... Read more

I called Harlem Furniture for a Labor day promotions and the person tells me a promotion rate. I go there to the store, they say thats only on certain items. Ok the price was above the budget, so I negotiated on a small discount and he (sales manager) said he will waive tax on two small items. Purchased expresso colored leather couch in July of 2011, supposedly one of the best at The Room Place. Soon after purchase, the leather couch started to show signs of discoloration. I purchased a sofa from this place and the day before the delivery they gave me a 2 hour window for delivery (12-2) . Then 6 hours later you call me back and tell me that the delivery time you previously gave me was incorrect, it's later in the evening.(1-4) The rude clerk decides to argue with me about what they told me earlier stating that I was a lier. I have a warrant on this furniture and I had it replace three times and took your company to court and this furniture is doing the same thing again peeling I paided a lot of money for this furniture and it only been 3 years. This is around the same time before the furniture do not last long.My girlfriend has the same furniture and hers is doing the same thing!!!!! I am so angry I dont have money... Read more

Long story short. Bought a mattress. Mattress ended up with a huge divot. They came and looked at it and said they would give us a credit since they no longer carried that mattress. When scheduling delivery they neglected to tell me half my order was back ordered for 1 month. Then they called to verify delivery the night before and then never showed up during that time frame. They insisted it was my error even though they had called to confirm. They stated the calls are recorded but refused to let me here it because they knew that it was they're error.
