I bought a couch at the Springfield location. First week couch started to make a popping noise every time someone sat on it. Call the store to let them know, they went thru process of getting hold of manufacture. 3 months later got someone out to fix, still was making noise! I was employed by Hank's Fine Furniture. After being severely inured there, my manager, Chance Jobe said it was not covered under Worker's Comp and they could not get me a doctor. He conveyed to me that I was on my own. He spoke for owner, Hank Browne, who owns many stores across the country. Me and my 2 daughter's walked in Hank's in Springfield, MO around 3:30pm on Saturday 11-16-13 so we could check on a delivery for a sofa my daughter had already previously purchased and had her receipt for, she was just checking to see when and how much it would cost for the delivery? I went to Hanks Fine Furniture today in Texarkana, Texas and purchased what I was told by the saleman, a chair that was leather and by Thomasville furniture. It was located in the gallery next to Paula Dean's furniture and other fine furniture. I was told it was missing the ottoman and they could not get another one. For the second time I have gotten a piece of garbage called a divan recliner from Hank's. We purchased a sectional, recliner, and ottoman from Hanks and was told by the salesperson, Adam that it was 100% leather including the backs and sides of each piece. about 6 months ago we purchased around $4000 worth of furniture from Hanks and our salesman kept saying, don't worry, if something happens the $300 repair plan will fix any accidents that happen due to your 2-yr old. This was a blatant lie. A cat knocked a cup of water over on the coffee table, and the surface developed bubbles, not covered. A hallmark card with completely "safe, invisible"... Read more
