I get these mailers and just shred them without even looking at them cause you can tell junk when you see it. But for some reason today I thought to look at it when I set my coffee cup down on top of it to wipe the drips off the bottom of the cup cause they make good coasters. Continuous calls to Glob Life and you get the run around. Each representative tells you something different. I've been waiting for alleged paperwork to convert my term policy to whole life policy and nothing has come via us mail or email. How about I have been waiting for 2 months and received nothing. If I could actually speak to a live person, I would ask them to please STOP sending life insurance mailers to my deceased husband. I find it not only a source of great pain to be constantly reminded of his recent death, but also very offensive that their marketing people obviously don't review the demographics of their potential customers. We are trying to get my mother approved for Medicaid and needed proof of policies and values and have been trying for over 4 weeks and get no where with them. I paid for a policy with them for over a year 41.00 dollars a month for 16 months I got a statement stating my policy lapse due to payment issues I called and was on hold for over 1.5 hr and still never spoke to anyone so I call back, and press option 2 to pay a bill and someone picked right up, I explained to her what happened she said they couldn't do anything about it unless I paid the late... They stuff every envelope with numerous flyers suggesting ways you can make it easier to pay your bill or add another 'benefit'. But when in the normal coarse of the insurance business process, its time to pay out, you'll get very poor service. Phone menu's and prompts, and holding until you are cut off. April 15,2013 I received a statement from Globle life informing me Policy for my grandchild lapse on 11/26/2012 due to non-payment. The payments were made on line from my checking account. My mother passed away recently and I have already received checks from all of her other life insurance companies. Globe Life still has yet to respond and/or payout. They don't answer their phones during normal business hours, no replies or generic replies on emails. I have submitted everything I'm supposed to. I would NEVER recommend anyone use this company!
