I own 2 vehicles that were in accidents within the last 18 months. One a 2009 Corvette Z06 and 2011Jetta TDI. First the Z06, I was side swiped and the other driver admitted fault. WARNING, READ THIS and I AM OPEN TO ADVICE!! Where do I begin? On February 8th of 2014 I was involved in a car crash with a Geico client. After being with Geico for over 10 years, they changed their policy, and we were not aware of it. If a payment is missed, they require 6 months paid in full to reinstate the policy. They did not update change of address in the system, so we did not the receive cancellation notice. The customer service has changed dramatically. She really is a robot, and only keeps repeating the same thing... Read more

GEICO's computer system failed and as a result, I was charged twice for my policy. Because it is the weekend and everything is still pending. They told me that there was NOTHING that they could do about for 3-5 days. I am overdraft now because of them. I have to wait until my statement comes in then fax it for them to credit my account. Well I tried to prolong my payment because I didn't have the funds in the account ... Now I gotta pay the overdraft fee ... I called them the day before my payment .... What the *** u guys open for when u can't stop a payment .. People money don't grow on trees we live paycheck to paycheck ... I had been with GEICO for a while and I was making some changes to my policy including disabling the automatic payments. On 11/15/2013 my vehicle was in an accident.
