So yeah, these guys are absolute scammers! Bought almost $1,000.00 worth of office furniture a the start of July. It said it was "in-stock". Of course, after buying, I was told "up to 30 days" for delivery.

I did call them several times, and whoever answered the phone was nice at giving me the same BS run around! Coming soon, blah, blah, blah.

I too saw that they "went out of business" mid-august, so I immediately called Citibank and did a chargeback on the charge they placed, and was able to get my funds returned.

I think the REAL reason these guys are "going out of business" is because they are UNDERWATER on their 2.8 MILLION DOLLAR HOME!!!! Check this out ... In 2006, at the height of the housing market ...

3 Modena Island Drive, 31411, Gerald J. Butters to Robert H. Shippy and Amy C. Shippy, residential, $2,891,000.

Bought this house, the economy and housing market tanked, and now they are screwed!

If someone is out that way, they should pay those crooks a visit! Maybe the authorities could say hello to this *** for us all!!!

They actually started building the house years before going under.

They didn't build there house. I was their Nanny, they moved from a nice home on Skidaway Island to the mansion at 1 foxglove.

They lived like there was no tomorrow. Their meals were delivered from a catering company or they ate out. Furnished their home with expensive furniture, not the kind you bought from Furniture Buzz. Several trips a year which I accompanied them to watch their children.

On our trip to Las Vegas, we flew in a helicopter over the Grand Canyon Robert parents were also along, an hour trip that cost close to 6 thousand dollars. We spent 3 days in a suite at the Beverley Hills Hotel at the tune of 3 thousand a night, they ate a Wolfgang Pucks restaurant, they bought art work costing thousands of dollars, ski trips to North Carolina ect. ect. They let me rent their 1st home on Skidaway Island when they moved into there Mansion so I would be close to them.

My granddaughter 17 months old died in a horrible accident in Oregon and I felt the need to move back to Oregon to be with my Children, They were so upset that I would leave them that they had me locked out of the house I was living in and had the Island Guard station not permit me on the island, They would not permit me to retrieve my furniture and belongings and I did not have the money and resources to stay and fight them, they told the police I was a guest and not a renter. Robert and Amy Shippy have a lot to answer for.

Being so involved with the Church and professing on a regular basis their Christian beliefs was all a cover for their lies, their stealing and their dark actions against all who trusted them to do the right thing.
