I read glowing reviews of FrontPoint security systems on the 'net and decided to try them on a Friday. I was told I had 30 days to try out their service and could return the product for a full refund.

I was supposed to review their contract and sign it electronically and they would ship the equipment within a week or so. I reviewed their contract the following day (Saturday) and found their contract liability exclusions unacceptable. So on Sunday I emailed them my refusal to sign and accept their contract. Yet I found they charged my credit card anyway.

I was called on Monday asking why I cancelled. I explained my reasons and was told they would cancel the charge. One week later the charge remains. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company.

Any company that charges you before you agree to a contract that they require, is suspect. The next time I'll use a local company.

The number of *** on this is suspicious. I have to wonder if Frontpoint is paying people to diss negative reviews and also to inflate customer satisfaction reviews.

I've had numerous errors and repeated poor service with this company, and insistence that I pay 3 years of contract service as a penalty despite their acknowledgement that heir records show that I have spent many, many hours on the phone due to damaged system that was never replaced as promised, promised escalation appointments to speak to supervisors who don't call, repeated theft through front door and inner door access where alarm system not only did not go off but did not even indicate that the doors had beenopened or closed, false alarms, inability to turn off alarm, poor signal strength, app failure, etc.

Angry but I expect that someone will "***" my comments, too. :(

Frontpoint finally refunded my credit card sometime last week after I disputed the charge. I suppose I'll just have to be content with Pit Bull & 12 gauge security for the time being:)

That sounds like a sales representative that was eager to get commission on your sale... He probably turned in your sale before he had your paper work....FrontPoint Security is probably a great company..

They just need to find better sale reps.. Start with background checks drug tests...then check references to make sure they are hiring people with integrity...next provide code and ethics training...Hopefully that may *** out the bad apples..."Hopefully"
