I have had two mortgages with Everhome (EverBank) for 30 years. I just paid them off. The loans were in my now deceased wife's name. After 4 and one half years of sending the death certificate to Everhome, they still will not discuss the loan with me. Talk about stupidity and frustration. This bank is so out of touch I sent the final payment (guessing at the amount because they won't tell... Read more

Our mortgage was sold to Everhome Mtg. from GMAC. They are difficult people to work with on so many levels. When with GMAC, we were allowed to split payments so that we would pay bi monthly. We did this for years, never had a problem. As soon as Everhome took over, their main objective has been to make sure their rules are never bent, they do not care what is happening in your life (I became... Read more

After speaking with the U.S. department Of Justice on the phone, they asked me to send some details about my experience with Everhome Mortgage and this is what I emailed them:> !!!! This is to alert you about a so-called mortgage management company called Everhome Mortgage having offices in Atlanta, GA., Jacksonville Fl. and maybe other locations, I don't know. Our first communique with this... Read more

I was told if I refinance I could get a certain rate. They tell me the rate is locked and then drag the process out for 2 months. Then they tell you the rate increased. After you've waited believing your payments would drop and after you've paid their application fee. This is what they do to get you in the door. They waste your time knowing they were never going to give you a low rate in the... Read more

BOA sold our mortgage to Everhome. We have. Received NO communication from the new lender until we received a notice that a late fee was added on 7/3/13. Under the terms of our loan with BOA, late fees were assessed on the 16th of the month. In addition, we have NOT yet received any information as to where to make a payment. Payment was made to BOA. No lender should have contacted us with... Read more

I am also pissed at BOA, my mortgage has always been paid on time. The reason I am pissed is because I had mortgage insurance taken out with my payment but they forgot to add that to the Everhome Mortgage. We were notified 2 weeks ago of the buyout and have been unsuccessful in contacting Everhome. My husband collapsed Sunday and is dying in ICU. Now what? Do I contact BOA? Get an attorney? They... BOA sold my mortgage to Everhome as of June 2013 and I received a letter stating 'everhome is a dept collector' and we were 'subject to bankruptcy'; however, we had an old cleared bankruptcy and were not in forclosure. Our payments are always on time. Called the company and received a 'we're sorry' but no new letter acknowledging we are not in forclosure or bankruptcy will be sent. I was... Read more

I was notified via a phone call from them the next month after the payment was on its 30th late that I needed to make a payment.I agreed to make both payments at once as well as submited in writing a letter to the...
