My wife and I rented from Enterprise in Mclean Virginia. Very recently due to someone else hitting her car, so the other insurance company offered to pay for the damages as well as the rental car service for three days.

So my wife goes in to Enterprise picks the car up on 4/7/14 to drop it off on 4/9/2014. Everything goes well with the rental car until she goes to drop it off, The agent is not there and tells her to leave it at the rental place. So she does, and thinking everything is fine picks up her car and drives away. We get a call 30 mins later saying that the car is damaged on the back end and the manager demanding my wife for her insurance number.

However they don't have any digital camera to send me any pictures, the manager is "talking to another client." and still has not called me back almost a week later.

They are now charging my credit card without my authorization to fix this car even after my insurance said I am not liable. I have since canceled the car, they will not receive another penny, I will not be bullied by a multi-million dollar corporation because their employee and manager were too lazy to meet my wife there and go through a walkthrough with her.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Location: Mclean, Virginia

Ok so an update as to what happened to my wife and I, If anyone were interested. I contacted Chris from Enterprise with the email address he provided me with below and within a couple hours I was emailed by a gentlemen named Matthew Krupinski who is the Regional Risk Supervisor for Enterprise in NoVa.

He called me back in the middle of dinner with his family to let me know that: There had in fact been a mixup with the cars on their end. That they were sorry for all the headaches caused and That they would not only stop their collection process but also would refund the $200 they had previously debited out.

While there were a lot of headaches in this process, I do appreciate the hardwork and quick response time that Chris, Matthew, and Juliano (their billing guy) showed.

Earlier

I couldn't even see the word Enterprise without feeling angry but these three guys turned a negative consumer experience to a mostly positive one. I will be renting from Enterprise(just not the McLean one) again.

And this time I will make sure my wife always takes pictures and waits for the agent.

Thanks again guys.

Yeah right the first time someone hit your wife's car it was their fault, and then when there was a dent in the rental car it was their fault, I think your wife is not being honest with you and blaming others for her carelessness.

In other words your wife had her cars hit in less than a month and both times it is not her fault, only a fool like you would believe that. I can understand one time, but twice getting hit and it is "not" her fault.

This also being less than a month.

It does not matter what the insurance said obviously your wife is being dishonest. Why is your wife not writing this if it is her problem, probably because she is afraid she will accidently admit fault.

Yeah because someone believing his wife makes him a fool, and plus do you really think I would go through all this trouble if I knew she was in the wrong. Aside from the personal attacks hiding behind a keyboard. My wife is Brazilian and as English is her second language she asked me to do it because it is a little hard for her to translate things still.

See there are a couple flaws in your logic allow me to point them out to you. First the individual's Insurance company in this case State Farm (we have Geico) paid for all the damages to be fixed at a place called Cherner which is right down the street from them.

State Farm also was paying for a rental car while hers got fixed. 2nd When I called Enterprise and asked them about the damages they said it was a dent on the rear passenger side bumper.

When I got the pictures the damages were on the front passenger wheel well and bumper but they were scratches not dents. And 3rd I drove the car the whole time except for the 5 minutes it took her to drop it back off at Cherner, where again an agent did not come and pick up the car for another 30 to 45 minutes.
